Ed Cousineau
So that’s me above Cape Town, South Africa on the greatest TV shoot ever. For Metamucil, if you believe that. I like the photo because it’s a metaphor for my career. You know, ready to take on the world, celebrating my successes, reaching for new heights, and one misstep and it’s all over.
Well, this is advertising. And my humor runs dark.
Anyhow, I’m still really enjoying this career after 30 years in the biz. And there’s much more to come. Over the years, I’ve developed a broad range of marketing experience across many disciplines. My background includes brand campaigns, direct marketing, CRM, lots of digital, social and site builds for some of the world’s foremost brands.
Plus, I’ve worked in lots of different categories including financial, travel, CPG, telecom and for the past 15 years a heck of a lot of healthcare. I’ve had the good fortune to work with major clients like AT&T, Chase, Heineken, Verizon, P&G, Citi, United Airlines, LG and healthcare brands like Ambien, Xiaflex, Trintellix, Pneumovax 23, Fluzone, Trikafta and Flonase. All at major agencies like Ogilvy, Publicis, Draft FCB, Grey, Merkley, and Klick Health. And I even won a few awards.
In my non-advertising life, I’ve had the honor of raising three young men to be functioning members of society. Yes, even the one who became an art director. Plus, I’ve had time to become the worst guitarist ever in a dad band, take to the skies as an amateur pilot, avoid a major spill as a mountain biker and make absolutely no money in a side hustle as marketing director of a charity organization called The Love Quilt Project.
Yep, things are looking pretty good up here. You can download my resume here.
